Kaufman Rossin Celebrates Annual ‘Toast to Non-Profits’
Kaufman Rossin hosted its seventh annual “Toast to Non-Profits” event in Miami on February 18, 2016. The event unites non-profit leaders in South Florida for an evening of food, wine and conversation to recognize their impact on the community.
Community engagement is part of the firm’s culture. Management encourages employees to get involved in the community, following their passions to devote time and talent to organizations that inspire them.
“A core firm value, social responsibility is something we take very seriously,” said Blain Heckaman, CPA, managing principal of Kaufman Rossin. “We encourage and support our employees who get involved with local organizations in the hopes of better shaping our community.”
For several years, Kaufman Rossin has been named one of the top corporate philanthropists in the region, by South Florida Business Journal. Firm professionals are involved in more than 250 organizations in South Florida. “Toast to Non-Profits” is an opportunity to celebrate that shared commitment with others who serve on their boards.
“We love getting together with people who are dedicated, determined and passionate about improving our community,” said Janet Kyle Altman, marketing principal with Kaufman Rossin. “The volunteers and board members involved in these non-profits help to make South Florida a better place to live.”
