Overview

Maximilian Halasz joined Kaufman Rossin in 2018 and is a senior manager in the Forensic, Advisory and Valuation Services department. Max’s practice focuses on forensic accounting and litigation consulting engagements related to economic damages, contract disputes, insurance claims, business valuation, fraud investigations and other complex accounting, finance and business matters.

Max has extensive experience with financial modeling, performing, directing, and interpreting meaningful data analysis projects, and conveying the results of forensic analysis in an intelligible manner for relevant stakeholders.

Max works closely with counsel through all phases of litigation. He assists counsel with case strategy, discovery, expert witness reports and related disclosures, and provides meaningful information for depositions, mediations, and trials.

Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin in 2018, Max worked as a senior auditor at a Big 4 firm. He executed various client engagements, including for a Fortune 100 company. Additionally, Max obtained experience planning, completing, and reporting on audits of financial statements following AICPA standards and applying US GAAP and US GAAS.

Max earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business, a Master of Science degree in Accounting, and four varsity baseball letters from Rhodes College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the states of Florida, Tennessee, and Maryland, Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), and is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
