Case Study Assignment: Applying Statistical Analysis

In this assignment you will practice identifying and analyzing various failure modes within a process. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a risk-assessment technique for evaluating the severity, occurrence, and detection of risks or uncertainty within a process. FMEA identifies possible failures and its effects on the process. Assigning failure modes numeric values or risk priority numbers (RPN) that quantify the possibility of the failure occurring, being detected, and its severity is facilitated by an FMEA effects analysis.
