Please read the following instructions carefully:

Guidance for Takeaway Paper: This is a Takeaway Paper, it means you will be writing at home, and therefore have access to a number of resources, such as lecture slides, reading material and online resources. For this reason, we would expect a greater amount of insightful analysis, and critical writing. That means that we are expecting you to show knowledge of strength and weaknesses of theories, and the ability to compare and contrast them. Additionally, we are expecting you to bring examples of how these theories work in practice. We would also value a neat structure of the answers.

Guidance for 10 marks parts: If the candidate lists topics with little or no analysis and explanation of understanding, a maximum of 4 marks may be awarded.  If the candidate develops a question with application (examples) 7 marks and above may be awarded.

Guidance for 20 marks parts: If the candidate lists topics with little or no analysis and explanation of understanding, a maximum of 8 marks may be awarded.  If the candidate develops a question with application (examples) a mark up to 12 marks may be awarded.
