Week 4: Written Clinical Assignment
COMMUNITY AGENCY PAPER
DIRECTIONS:
Choose a community agency that provides one of the following services below. Schedule a visit by contacting the agency. Also, view the website, as many as two students may visit at one time.
Type a one to two-page report of your observations while at the agency. ***Include the philosophy and goals of the agency and how knowledge gained from this visit will help student as an OB nurse.
Be sure to answer the following questions in your typewritten, double-spaced paper:
What services do they provide? To whom? What do you need to qualify for these services? How can you as a nurse refer to these services? How much do they cost? Identify barriers that need to be overcome to receive the services (for example citizenship, county residency, etc.)?
Also, attach proof of attendance to Paper such as a business card of contact person or pamphlet of agency.
