Identify three indicators that show a country may be experiencing political or economic instability. In other words, assess the way in which political, economic, and geographic (i.e. a country’s HDI) factors influence international business methods and operations. In your argument, state the logistical differences of a product supply-chain delivery to an international market! Furthermore, address Canada’s Absolute and/or Competitive Advantage over the other trading partners and their market places. Hence, don’t be shy to bring out the big guns: Canada’s three major industries!
While due to Globalization some multinational companies have more spending power than entire countries, Global Trends 2015, a document sponsored by the U.S. government, predicts a widening gap between rich and poor. How do you think it is possible for both things to happen at the same time? In your argument, make sure to propose an idea that might address and solve part of this Globalization problem, using the benefits of Trade Organizations and Trade Regulatory Organizations, including CSR, NGOs while attempting to eliminate lobbying, child and/or sweatshop labour, as well as rampant corporate corruption. Be sure to comment on how would Regulation in Banking for example, stave off the corporate corruption and disallow the use of subprime mortgages thus eliminating a high number of housing foreclosures!
