STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION AND STRATEGIC CONTROLS
The MGT599 Session Long Project is designed to work in parallel with the Case Assignments, which build on each other module by module.
After completing the Module 4 Case Assignment, in which you wrote a 6- to 8-page paper critically evaluating the fit—or the lack of fit—between the company’s mission, strategy, and organizational components crucial to implementation, complete the following SLP assignment.
Using the same organization you used in the Module 1, Module 2, and Module 3 SLP Assignments, write a 2- to 3-page letter (more instructions below) addressing the following assignment components based on the Module 4 Case Assignment.
1. Focusing only on Step 6 from the Module 4 Case Assignment (“What changes would you—as the CEO—make to better assure the success of the company’s strategy?”), use this final SLP Assignment to answer the same question about your chosen organization using the format described in the next step.
2. In the form of a 2- to 3-page letter, write to your chosen organization as a consultant and provide specific advice based on Step 1 (above). You may write in the first person, but be sure that any suggestions you make are based on concepts you learned about in this course. This is not an opinion letter, but rather a business communication that should serve as the finished product the company would receive if it paid you as a consultant.

This assignment is a letter. As such, no reference page is necessary. You may simply format this as a business letter, including the required details in the Assignment Components section above
