SUMMARY-RESPONSE PAPERS (SR) 3 student-selected; 1 instructor-selected; 4 total. A summary-response paper consists of a brief summary of the assigned document, followed by your response. The summary should be no more than one paragraph and should clearly identify the document you are summarizing. Your response may be a question that the material raised for you and a suggested answer to the question. It may be a discussion of the material in its historical context. It may be a discussion of connections between the document to other documents, concepts, or themes we have discussed in class. The response should consist of at least one solid paragraph. Altogether, the summary response should be no more than 2 pages, typed, double spaced. This is a formal paper and scoring will include proper formatting. Learning Objective: 1, 2, 3, 4.

· The remaining sentences should explain or support your statement.

· The response paragraph can be more than one paragraph, but the summary-response paper should not be more than 2 pages in length.
